New York - Standing Stone Vineyards
“With its charming yellow farmhouse and its winery in a barn, Standing Stone appears to be an old-fashioned Finger Lakes winery, but it actually produced its first wine in 1993. The Vidal dessert white is a knockout; Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay and Riesling are quite good; and while many wineries in the area try to make Cabernet Sauvignon, the Macinskis actually pull it off." - The Wine Spectator, June 2005

Dr. Konstantin Frank
The most celebrated winery in the East since its establishment in 1962. The Doctor originally made a name for himself reversing 300 years of failure in growing European Vitis vinifera grapes in the East Coast. The last 40 years have ensured his place in the pantheon of great American winemakers by consistently producing the best wines in the East and probably the best Rieslings in the US.

- Pelee Island Winery - Vidal Ice Wine (12/375ml) More InfoPelee Island Winery- Vidal Ice Wine:
This dessert wine is lusciously sweet and smooth rich, concentrated aromas of apricots and peaches. Best served at the end of a meal accompanied by a sweet dessert, such as dutch apple pie a la mode. - Pelee Island Winery - Cabernet Franc More InfoPelee Island Winery - Cabernet Franc:
The key to the intense flavors and spicy aromas are the mature grapes and modern technology. This modern piece of technology allows for strict temperature control during fermentation; its gentle agitation of the wine extracts more colour and tannin from the skins; and the partial pressure this vessel is under during the time of fermentation allows higher concentration of fruit flavors to remain in the wine. Finally, this wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in the barrel room, which stabilizes its red colour and enhances its firm tannic finish. This Cabernet Franc is best served with pasta or red sauce, barbecued foods, roast beef or lamb. - Pelee Island Winery - Pinot Grigio More InfoPelee Island Winery- Pinot Grigio:
Crisp and refreshing, our Pinot Grigio has a fruit, flower and mineral aroma, with a touch of lemon or citrus flavour. An excellent choice for spicy and barbecued foods, as well as white meat dishes. Enjoy! - Pelee Island Winery - Semi-Sweet Merlot More InfoPelee Island Winery- Semi-Sweet Merlot:
Plum, black cherry and berry flavors are anchored by a smooth succulent finish. Recommendation: Enjoy this wine with BBQ or other grilled foods, or soft cheeses. - Pelee Island Winery - Merlot More InfoPelee Island Winery - Merlot:
The grapes were harvested in mid and late September when they had reached 20.5 degrees brix. Matured in a traditional remontage for 14 days and finished in a 5000L oak cask. An excellent sipping wine that compliments rich stews, lamb and beef. Also, an ideal partner for barbecues and most pasta dishes. - Pelee Island Winery - Chardonnay More InfoPelee Island Winery - Chardonnay:
Our Chardonnay grape vines have adapted well to the sun, soil, climate and latitude of Pelee Island. These grapes were harvested in September when they had reached 21.4° Brix. They were then fermented for two to four weeks in stainless steel tanks and then left to age for another 6 months in stainless steel tanks. Best served with salt-water fish, roast pork, ham and pastas or white meats with a cream sauce. I'm imagining scallops baked in a cream sauce with a hint of garlic served on a bed of white rice. Wouldn't that be delicious! - Pelee Island Winery - Pinot Noir More InfoPelee Island Winery- Pinot Noir:
This wine is best served at room temperature with grilled or roasted red meat and game, ham, roast pork or grilled Atlantic salmon. - Pelee Island Winery - Rose More InfoPelee Island Winery - Rose:
Best served well chilled, this wine is an agreeable companion to spicy or barbecued foods. It is also a beautiful wine to drink on its own on a hot summer day. - Pelee Island Winery - Baco Noir More InfoPelee Island Winery - Baco Noir:
Best served well chilled, this wine is an agreeable companion to spicy or barbecued foods. It is also a beautiful wine to drink on its own on a hot summer day. - Pelee Island Winery - Dry Riesling More InfoPelee Island Winery - Dry Riesling:
The grapes were harvested during the last week of September and the first week of October when they had reached 19.6 degrees brix. They were then fermented in stainless steel tanks for the next four weeks. This wine is a perfect compliment to appetizers, seafood, cheeses and light meats. A great pair would be a nice scallop dish with a wonderful light creamy white sauce and some crisp, fresh vegetables straight from the garden. Sounds delicious!
